Cement tile adhesive

Tile cement mortar is used to attach tiles on concrete or block walls. It comprises cement, sand, limestone, Sinocell and various additives, ready to be mixed with water before use. It plays a vital role in improving water retention, workability, and sag resistance. Especially, Sinocell helps to increase adhesion strength and open time.

Normal Tile Cement
Normal tile cement is usually economic mortar which has lower content of cement and RDP(Redispersible polymer powder) than standard tile cement. RDP is optional additive (below 1% in dry mortar).

Sinocell with high viscosity is used and the dosage is about 0.2 to 0.3% in dry mortar.

Standard Tile Cement (C1)
Standard tile cement (C1) is cementitious adhesive as prescribed in EN12004.
Adhesion Strength after drying of this tile cement should be more than 0.5N/mm2, and the dosage of Sinocell is generally about 0.3 to 0.4% in dry mortar to reach this level.

High Performance Tile Cement (C2)
High performance tile cement (C2) is a special cementitious adhesive with additional characteristics as prescribed in EN12004.
Adhesion Strength of this tile cement should be more than 1.0N/mm2, and the dosage of Sinocell is generally 0.4 to 0.6%. It is the highest level used in tile cement mortar.
