Toothpaste
The use of medium viscosity Sinocell H-types is recommended as a thickener and binder. With the help of Sinocell H types, the consistency for the filling of the tubes, as well as the final consistency, can be optimally adjusted. Furthermore, the Sinocell H types demonstrate good compatibility with many of the ingredients which are used, such as surfactants and humectants. Due to their non-ionic character, they are especially compatible with cationic anti-bacterial active ingredients, such as ammonium compounds and the commonly used caries prophylaxis amino fluoride.
Shampoo
Shampoo is generally made by combining a surfactant, often sodium lauryl sulfate and/or sodium laureth sulfate with a co-surfactant, typically cocamidopropyl betaine. Other ingredients are used to ease the rinsing or to repair the damage of the hair. Many shampoos are pearlescent.
Because of the good compatibility with surfactants,Sinocell grades are recommended to give shampoos the desired consistency and provide good stability, especially for products with pearlescent effects. Furthermore,Sinocell types act as a film former and thus support the active ingredients by improving their adhesion to the hair.
Comestic
Decorative cosmetics (make-up) serve to accentuate the personal attractiveness and to conceal blemishes, such as wrinkles or redness.
There are a multitude of products, such as liquid make-ups, particularly oil-free products where Sinocell stabilises the solids in water. Low viscosity Sinocell H grades are recommended since maximum suspension properties are achieved without a large increase in the viscosity of the make-up.
Cement tile adhesive
Normal Tile Cement
Normal tile cement is usually economic mortar which has lower content of cement and RDP(Redispersible polymer powder) than standard tile cement. RDP is optional additive (below 1% in dry mortar).
Sinocell with high viscosity is used and the dosage is about 0.2 to 0.3% in dry mortar.
Standard Tile Cement (C1)
Standard tile cement (C1) is cementitious adhesive as prescribed in EN12004.
Adhesion Strength after drying of this tile cement should be more than 0.5N/mm2, and the dosage of Sinocell is generally about 0.3 to 0.4% in dry mortar to reach this level.
High Performance Tile Cement (C2)
High performance tile cement (C2) is a special cementitious adhesive with additional characteristics as prescribed in EN12004.
Adhesion Strength of this tile cement should be more than 1.0N/mm2, and the dosage of Sinocell is generally 0.4 to 0.6%. It is the highest level used in tile cement mortar.
